Introduction to Family Tree Maker

Join us on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 12pm (noon) for a 1 ½ hour introduction and discussion of the current version of Family Tree Maker.  Family Tree Maker Ambassador, Mark Olsen, will discuss Family Tree Maker and what makes it different than other genealogy products and software. He will take us on a walk through the various family tree building features, from how to get and install the software, to basic use and creating, or downloading your very own family tree.  He will discuss its compatibility with Ancestry.com and FamilySearch.  He will be happy to discuss and answer all questions.  An electronic PDF handout, that includes a discount link, will be provided to all attendees.

Mark will also discuss Family Tree Maker partner products - Charting Companion and Family Book Creator - both are amazing plug-ins that can help create incredible charts, graphs, and books.
 
This class is for all levels of genealogists, whether you are just getting started or very experienced.  You will want to join the class whether you already use Family Tree Maker or are looking to purchase genealogy software. Finally, Mark is providing a Door prize for one lucky attendee—a copy of FTM 2019, the most current version.
