Chula Vista Genealogy Society General Meeting

"Three Key Intermediate DNA Strategies”

Presented by: Diahan Southard

All CVGS in-person meetings have been cancelled until further notice. The Libraries are now open to limited use and the Society is in the process of arranging use of rooms for our meetings. Until those arrangements are finalized we will continue to meet on ZOOM.

So, join us this month on ZOOM for our general meeting with:

Diahan Southard

If you are not already receiving invitations to our ZOOM meetings please contact Randy Seaver at: randy.seaver@gmail.com and request your invitation.

While every person’s situation is unique, these ABCs are more advanced, key strategies you can use to help investigate your match list in order to identify a particular match, or to break down a genealogy brick wall. Ask the Wife (dividing genetic networks); Bottoms Up (working from the bottom of your match list); and Cousin Categories (determining which kinds of cousins might answer your question). Diahan Southard is a leading voice for consumer DNA testing from her position as Founder of Your DNA Guide. Diahan teaches internationally, consults with leading testing companies and forensics experts. Southard’s company, Your DNA Guide (YourDNAGuide.com), deploys a team of scientists who provide one-on-one genetic genealogy education and research services. You will walk away from an interaction with her enlightened and motivated as she has a passion for genetic genealogy, a genuine love for people, and a gift for making the technical understandable

Register on the CVGS website for this meeting and look for the email with the Zoom meeting link on/about Monday 13 December.

Attendance is free but only 100 seats are available, so please register soon.
