Due to concern about the corona virus, the city of Chula Vista libraries, while open now, are still not making meeting rooms available.
This event will be held, in-person, at the Bonita branch of the Sand Diego County Library, 4375 Bonita Rd, Bonita CA 91902. This meeting will also include a ZOOM connection for those who would prefer to attend virtually. If you register for this event, you will be sent an email link three days and one day before the meeting date.

Learn about the records that exist for genealogists researching pre-statehood Virginia & Kentucky. Record types, finding aids, locations, and examples will be discussed and presented, including the records that transcend the development of Kentucky county, Virginia to the Commonwealth of Kentucky in 1792.
J. Mark Lowe describes himself as a lifelong genealogist. He is a professional genealogist, author, and lecturer who specializes in original records and manuscripts throughout the South. Mark enjoys opportunities to share what he has learned over the years through YouTube, Webinars, and Institutes. He is the Course Coordinator for - “Research in the South” at the IGHR, TIGR and SLIG week-long institutes.
Local CVGS members can attend this meeting in-person at the Bonita Library (4375 Bonita Road in Bonita, Calif.) in the Community Room OR via a Zoom video conference. Refreshments will be available. Register on the CVGS website for this meeting:
