Was my 2nd Great Grandfather a Member?"

The Giessen Immigration Society formed in Giessen, Hesse, Germany, in 1833 and nearly 500 passengers sailed in two ships in 1834.  Most of the passengers settled in Missouri, although a few went to Illinois.

Carole will talk about the society and try to prove a 3 year old was her 2nd great-grandfather!

The county library system including Lemon Grove now have My Heritage in place of the Ancestry genealogy software. It can be accessed from home if you have a county library card.
