CVGS Annual Picnic at Daryl Hern's Home

Our Annual Picnic will be held on Wednesday, June 29 at 11 a.m. at the home of Daryl Hern (5110 Nannette St, Bonita, CA 91902).

The hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, buns and water will be provided by the society. Please bring a favorite dish to share with everyone.

DIRECTIONS:

From Briarwood Rd. follow Sweetwater Rd. East or from Bonita Rd. follow Sweetwater Rd. West to Margaret St. Follow Margaret St. Northeast to Sylvia St (Margaret St. turns into Sylvia St at a bend of the road to the left.)

Follow Sylvia St. to Nannette St. Turn left on Nannette St. Follow Nannette St past Anderson St. and look for a large overhead gate. Pass through the gate and the Hern residence is on you left.

Please plan to pay $5.00 either before the picnic or the day of the picnic. That will help defray the cost of the meat, buns and water. Please contact Jane Furnish (email ejfurnish@gmail.com or phone 817-320-6144) to sign up for a potluck dish.

The sharing theme this year is “California History” We will have a California history trivia quiz for points and prizes. So bone up on your California history.

Also bring any artifacts or heirlooms and stories which may be associated with your ancestors in California for sharing.
